Your body isn’t exactly the same from one appointment to the next — and your treatment doesn’t have to be either.
Alignment Therapy is a personalized, hands-on approach that brings together a variety of therapeutic techniques based on how your body is moving, feeling, and responding that day.
Rather than following one set treatment or technique, Crystal looks at the bigger picture. Your session may include NeuroFascial Reset (NFR), therapeutic massage, myofascial work, cupping, stretching, nerve flossing, movement, or other supportive techniques.
The goal is simple: to meet your body where it is and provide thoughtful, one-on-one care that may help ease tension, support mobility, improve body awareness, and help you move more comfortably.
One appointment might focus on an area that feels tight or restricted. Another may include more movement, nervous system-focused work, stretching, or hands-on massage.
That’s intentional.
Your body changes with your activity, stress, work, sleep, injuries, routines, and everyday life. Alignment Therapy allows your treatment to adapt too.
Crystal uses her experience across multiple techniques to choose what makes sense for you in the moment — rather than trying to fit every client into the same treatment plan.
NeuroFascial Reset, or NFR, is one of the techniques that may be incorporated into an Alignment Therapy session.
NFR combines specific pressure with movement and works with the relationship between the nervous system, muscles, and fascia. It may be helpful when an area feels tight, restricted, or difficult to move comfortably.
Sometimes NFR may be the main focus of a session. Other times, only a small amount may be used alongside massage, stretching, nerve work, or another technique.
It all depends on what your body needs that day.
Watch: What Is NeuroFascial Reset?
Every Alignment Therapy session is personalized to your needs, comfort, and goals. Depending on what Crystal notices during your treatment, your session may include one or several of the following techniques.
A movement-based technique using specific pressure and stretches to work with the nervous system, muscles, and fascia. It may help support mobility and ease areas of tension or restriction.
Hands-on soft tissue work tailored to your body and comfort level. Massage may help ease muscular tension, support circulation, and encourage more comfortable movement.
Focused pressure applied to areas of muscular tension. This technique may help encourage tight muscles to relax and support more comfortable movement through the surrounding area.
A slower, often oil-free technique that works with the fascia and surrounding soft tissue. It may help improve tissue mobility and reduce feelings of restriction.
A traditional technique using a smooth-edged tool over the skin and soft tissue. It may be used to support circulation, tissue mobility, and areas that feel restricted.
Warm jade stones may be incorporated into treatment to provide soothing heat and gentle pressure, helping muscles relax and making hands-on work more comfortable.
Cups are moved across the skin to gently lift and mobilize the soft tissue. This technique may help support circulation and improve movement through areas of tension or restriction.
Small, intentional movements designed to help the body explore easier movement patterns. These may be especially useful when repetitive activities or everyday habits have left an area feeling stiff or overworked.
Essential oils may be incorporated into a session when appropriate and with your preference in mind, adding a calming sensory element to your treatment experience.
Assisted stretching tailored to your current mobility and comfort. It may help reduce feelings of muscular tightness and support a more comfortable range of motion.
A movement-based approach that may include assisted stretches, rhythmic compression, and gentle pressure to support mobility and relaxation.
Gentle, repeated movements designed to help nerves move more freely through the surrounding tissues. It may be included when nerve mobility appears to be contributing to tension or restricted movement.
You don’t need to know which technique to book or figure out exactly what your body needs before you arrive.
That’s part of the appointment.
Crystal will check in with you, look at what has changed since your last visit, and tailor your session accordingly. Sometimes that means more massage. Sometimes more NFR. Sometimes movement, stretching, cupping, nerve work, or a combination of approaches.
The treatment fits you — not the other way around.
Resets the eyes to track, releasing tension through fascial work and neuro exercises.
Fascial release and neuro exercises to ease tension in the jaw and tongue.
Fascial stretching to improve neuropathways, pain, and range of motion.
Slow decompression of the face, jaw, ears, and scalp to lower tension and cortisol.
Frees the diaphragm through fascial release, neuro exercises, and breath work.
Fascial work, cupping, and nerve flossing to release an exaggerated neck curve.
Many patients see results in as little as one to three sessions, with very minimal recovery time.
NFR and massage treatments can be uncomfortable depending on the nature of your pain, but most patients feel relief right after treatment.
Absolutely. Our certified therapist is fully trained in NFR and massage therapy techniques.

“Crystal is awesome at all the different techniques of massage therapy she provides. I have been seeing her for over 10 years — I truly believe that without her, I would not be able to walk today due to my severe arthritis.”
Bernice Gocal Calgary, AB“I tried physio, chiro, acupuncture and massage for my bad back and still crawled into Crystal’s treatment room one day, unable to stand up straight. After a session or two I noticed a difference — I now can happily stand upright!”
Sean Conaboy Bragg Creek, AB“If you have pain, discomfort or stress, you need to see Crystal. She specializes in NFR that is simply more effective than regular massage — if you have nerve pain in particular, forget massage and go for the NFR.”
Amanda Leuthi Cochrane, AB“After a wrist injury, months of casting, surgery and physio helped nothing. My physiotherapist finally recommended Crystal — she was my saving grace. I am now pain free with a fully functional wrist and arm again.”
